In less than an hour, the District Nurse (who probably looks like a Russian shot putter) is due to give me another painful injection.
    Easy!!
Mrs scumdog a.k.a. CB a.k.a. normajeane is a District Nurse and does NOT look like a Russian shot-putter....well not in my eyes she doesn't!!!
Of course she is still quite capable of giving painful injections...

    But get well anyway eh!

Get well mate, I know every time I've bruised a leg the deep bruises next to the bone do take forever to go down but I always hope there is no lasting effect.
    Cheers

Thanks so much everyone, it's really appreciated. Went for my ultrasound this morning and apart from the Big Clot which is me, I'm in the clear as far as other clots go. Just massive bruising and some tissue damage causing all the swelling. Probably won't be back on the bike for a few weeks but that's no big deal over the Xmas period.

Ride safe and best wishes for a stunning Festive Season.

Pleased to read things are on the up and up. Best to wear shoes not jandals when out and about for a while. I don't take blood thinners but know some who do, they don't like broken glass...

I will second SDs nomination of his lady as not being the Russian shotputter type of District Nurse
