Mine was just called a "she" but sometimes it was called stronger words when it was giving trouble or just generally annoying me

It's just a thing. Although I have in the past referred to it as the VifFerraRi, generally it's just "the bike" or "the VFR" and it's still just a machine, like all the bikes and cars I've ever owned.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

No, Scoot is not a thing. She is a living, breathing organism with fire in her belly. We live symbiotically, in harmony. She warns me if I'm being too rough or careless, and she has moments of divine inspiration. She is rasty and bad tempered, and will raise her front or shake her head when she's annoyed. She is soulful, and when she sings, it raises the hair on the back of my neck.
It’s diametrically opposed to the sanitised existence of the Lemmings around me in the Dilbert Cartoon hell I live in; it’s life at full volume, perfect colour with high resolution and 10,000 watts of amplification.

LOL... Slowfox, you already know my answer to this question/poll.

I'm pretty sure that Tootle calls her it because i "seem" to enjoy spending more time and money on her and see's her as the competition.

Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead
Do not walk ahead as I may not follow.
Do not walk beside me as the path is narrow
In fact FU*K off and leave me alone

The RG is an it. It's called "The Chainsaw". The Pal has unfortunatly been dubbed as "Paul".

I treat the new one as the same bike. Some of the plastics and other bits are left overs.=)

The Orgasmatron is definitely "she" as such a pleasure producing device could only be female...

The X1 is female thru and thru...god! just look at her shape! She is a lady with a serious tomboy streak (not unlike her owner). She likes to be looked after but is always up for a good thrashing!

The Firebolt is pure TESTOSTERONE...bloody thing keeps sidling closer to the X1 tryin' to get 'his leg over'...

Err, I look at my bike slightly differently it would seem then.

I don't think of it as another being but more just an extension of my own body. Attatching wheels to my lower torso, so therefore it isn't a he/she/it but more it's just another part of myself. Like cyborg enhancements

Otherwise it's referred to as the Yellow Canary
Woe to You Oh Earth and Sea
For the Devil sends the beast with wrath
Because he knows the time is short
    Let him who hath understanding
Reckon the number of the beast
For it is a human number
Its number is six hundred and sixty six.

FOR SALE: '88 Yamaha FZX 750, low k's and decent condition. Looking for around 4.5K. Drop us a pm, view it any time. Oh, and trades considered for cruisers or naked sporties.

Mines a she. I named her Carrie. Although for a long time she was just 'the bike'. Took a while to name her and I think the tassles on the saddlebags kinda determined the gender. Not sure how I feel about riding a girl but meh... gotta try everything once.
I wouldn’t be broke if the voices in my head paid rent
