CR/CRF shock interchangability?

is a CRF shock the same as far as fitment is concerned as a CR one? anyone know? id rather find out before pulling the cunty to pull apart crf apart

When comparing a 2006 CR250 with a 2006 CRF250 top and bottom bearings are the same. Unsure of the lengths of the two shocks they could be different and the valving is definitely different and the reservoir orientation could also be different so be careful when you first ride if you do get one to fit.

for the record, no it does not fit. the reservour is too high on the crf to fit under the subframe on the cr. it also wouldnt swap the other way either.
