On stock gearing, an indicated 299 is about 275.

The clock stops at 299 on a GSXR, and depending on the restricter, it'll do more (about 1500 RPM) more. I've worked out the ratios, and it's hard to know how much diameter growth there is on the rear, but 300 real clicks isn't out of the question.

Of course, the best place to do it is the back straight of Puke wearing leathers, but sadly Squids only seem to be able to ride large on internet forums such as this one.

At 300kph, you're doing a mile every 20 seconds. So, if a cow happens to wandering across the road at the wrong time, by the time your booze addled and very small brain realises the threat, you'll have started to move your finger onto the brake, by that time the cow will have been inseminated by a poor example of the human gene pool atop Japan's finest engineering feat.

I'd pay to see that happen. I would feel sorry for the cow though.
