I see the Kiwi Mike Shepherd (Desert Rose Racing) is now 99th overall.....he's hangin in there, good to see. Only 118 riders left from the 234 starters, it seems finishing is the biggest challenge of all. How's them sand dunes stages 10 and 12? Huuuuge!
Looks like the lone DRZ400 rider has pulled out, can't see him in the finishers for stage 12, I was kinda hoping he'd finish....

Edit 16 Jan..Hang on, there's my DRZ man, 3rd to last, he copped a 4 hr time penalty. Go the bloody DogRoota! They should give him a 10hr time credit just as some compensation for that hard seat!

Was just reading about Stan Watts and how his hand is so bad he can't hold the throttle properly (has to put his thumb on top) and thought to meself "he needs a throttle rocker like mine"..... "That's still on the Frogs DRZ"
