Very pleased now that I managed to be patiant enough to wait for this one to come along.

    On the shopping list:
1, Radar detector. (bloody hell I love the torque of V-twins)
2, New exhaust. (already sounds good the growlier the better)
3, pack rack (ugly but very worthwhile for the longer trips)
Yup, Yoshi is the way to go on the SV..!

p.s. nice bike, and considering the prices of new suzi's are going up next year, you have a bargain there.!, love the blue colour.. and is that an after market screen on the front? or standard?

I was sorely tempted to buy an older SV I test rode simply because I loved the Yoshi on it.

Screen is standard. Does have a very nice looking rear hugger on it though, will post up some more pics later after I crawl out of bed and give her a wash.

P.s. right now I hate my boss, he encouraged us to try and work our way through the entire cocktail menu...

I have it on good authority that the dealers, especially japanese brands, are very nervous about the downturn at the moment.
I know of one case where a dealer, who formerly offered $6K on a trade in,spontaneously phoned the seller some time later, and upped the trade to $7K

    Only read the first page.
    But I know from experience:
Your Bandit with 20,000k's on the clock is worth 1.5 a trade-in, for the 5.5 CBR250 with 56,000k's.

Just my inexperienced input, try a private sale, with a clued up rider to help you out.
Some people just can't seem to comprehend that they do not have the right to be unoffended in their lives.

Thanks dude, you're a little bit too late though!
I had thoughly researched what I wanted & test ridden a few different bikes already. I'd been looking privately as well but this one came up at Colemans was just a little out of my price range this side of christmas, I told Matt what I'd give him for it (cash deal, I'd already onsold my 250 privately) sale done & now shes sitting outside my window begging me to take her for a ride... grumble grumble bloody hang over, free booze is BAD!

As for the hangover, might I suggest some fatty, salty hot chips?

I see a pie in my near future, just as soon as I actually get out of bed and brave opening the curtains. Then its off to watch some bucket racing with dark sunglasses on me thinks

Ooo are they on today! /me plots

I'll put my vote in for the neptune. Had one on my SV and it sounded great. Good solid finish too. Nice deep note without being boomy but still having a good crack to it! (and according to the dyno, pretty free flowing!)
