Stolen. Suzuki DR250 Djebel (Porirua, 19 December)

F#$*$$ nice x-mas surprise. My bike got stolen last night in Titahi Bay, Porirua.

1993 Suzuki DR250 Djebel, colour blue/white. Rego: 60WGT.

Sorry to hear that mate, hope you were insured.
this is why I have a wire cable on my bike with padlock so I can lock my bike to some thing solid, trust no bugger any where when it comes to bike security.

Nope, not insured. Had a disc lock, chain and padlock on the bike and was hooked up on an anchor point. (homemade.....reinforced steel in 1 m deep concrete bed). Still, the bastards took it. Hope they will catch a bug and their balls will fall off.

Sh*t, just goes to show a determined thief will get what they want, no matter how well secure.

Did they ever find the bike? I had my Suzuki DR250 stolen last Friday night (17th Jan 09) (see http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/sh...ad.php?t=90542) - snapped the lock on the garage and just took the bike. Stef
