    Just like a new one!

I have hairy bits on my rubber bits!!!!! This is my first ever full set of brand new tyres and of course right on queue it is of course raining here

Lately I've been getting lots of comments about how much MORE noisy my bike is. I got used to it and infact grew to love the roar at full throttle however decided that given the looseness of the rivets it might be a good time to take the muffler off and repack it.

SO took it off the bike, drilled out the rivets and emptied out the packing... NO WONDER IT WERE SO LOUD! Check out the pics

Of course being the hoon that Sully60 is he just had to start the thing up without the muffler on....it didn't sound much different than it has been sounding with the muffler on it!

Then on with the repacked muffler....oooooo it has that lovely gargley VTwin growl back.

NOW I just need a fine day and I am off...yeee haaaa I love holidays - now to decide where to go on it so I can enjoy the new tyres and much better sound.......

Well at least you spelt 'queue' correctly. There are many on here who would have spelt it 'que' lol

Never ridden on Contis so I look forward to experiencing them for myself.

Only ever ridden this bike with old worn Metzelers and Super Corsas so I am just looking forward to having some decent rubber under my arse.

Looks like a tootle up to cheer on the Welly Bucketeers is in order now
