    Bikes and christmas.

This is the season to introduce the advantages of the motorbike, to the non-believers out there.

The smiling faces of the cagers, as they frolic their way around and around the praking lot, looking for the elusive praking space...
Their calm and relaxed manner once they have found a place to abandon their rust-bucket and proceeded into the "mall",
The wonderous expression on their feces when a person rides up to the door of the "mall", prak's their sprotbike or cruisier, walks inside and then proceeds to shop untill one is content, is wonderous.
Of course, all of the shopping will fit into a backpack or panniers!

    Merry syphillus, shoppers!

Thanks for our most beloved Infection, native to NZ
Ha ha. But goddamn, yes. I was sure one or two might club me to death when they saw me tootle onto the OFFICIAL BIKE SPOT.
Some people just can't seem to comprehend that they do not have the right to be unoffended in their lives.

Just keep riding and looking cool.
The most important part is to emphasise the FUN to would-be motorcyclists, it's not just another method of transport.

This is the best time of year to have a bike! The weather's great, the traffic's nasty, you just filter to the front of all the queues and get the best parking spots!

As for having to fit all your prezzies in your backpack - you're not trying hard enough! I've ridden home with huge boxes netted to my back seat, shopping bags over my arms and rolls of wrapping paper tucked down the front of my jacket. And I haven't dropped anything yet!

Ohh I just remembered - last Christmas the card for my mechanic fell out of my pocket onto the road and I lost it.
There is no such thing as bad weather; only inappropriate clothing!

Riding my bike IS my christmas present to myself.

Christmas is fab biking time because both me and hubby are off work AND SO ARE THE FAMILY allowing more time for me or both of us to slip away on the bike

Apparently 5 year olds aren't allowed to be left on their own in locked houses

    A Christmas tip:

Tuck a roll of wrapping paper down your trouser leg - chicks dig it.

Chortle. Yup. I'm with you. I just park up on the first bit of available space outside a mall.

I hang my helmet on the mirror. Leave my gloves packed on top of the dials, and walk away thinking, 'You toucha my bike, I breaka your face!"

It is perfectly acceptable to leave five-year-olds on their own...providing, of course, they have no access to combustible materials, or your credit card in their hands, if you're going for a bike ride.

There's a law about it, somewhere.

I want one of those carbonite-freezing machines like Jabba the Hutt used on Han Solo.

I'm sure the kids would get over the discomfort of its regular use fairly quickly.

Hopefully there aren't any xmas shoppers around looking for a nice cheap helmet or gloves to give to their family. . .
