    BusaJim name change

Since buying my 1150 adventure, the poor busa has not had much of a look in.
So after much procrastination and heart ache MagicFairy made me sell it

So I've changed my name to Balrog which lines up with my ADVRider logon.

Thank you Nasty for doing the honours

I think you'll like it here. The natives seem friendly enough.

    yeah yeah
I was a serious Busa fan though. When I wrote my 1st one off, I didn't even test ride another bike.
I just went out and bought another one. (a black one, my favourite)
Then when I bought the GS, it took me nearly two years to even consider selling my beloved baby.

    Fair call though
GSJim was tempting but not selected for that very reason

its derived from the phrase "ball rub" - something GS riders are inclined to do as they nervously eye up the next knarly obstacle and wonder if their whale is going to get stuck or not.

BTDT. When I wrote off the first Trophy in 1996, I did test ride other bikes... including a near-new R1100GS, at night, while it was snowing albeit briefly. Bought the last new '95 Trophy available.
    Cheers,

Well, whatever you intended, you've named yourself after a fearsome fire demon ...
