If crash involves injury have to report it to police within 24 hrs, if crash involves damage to someones property, report it to property owner within 48 hrs or if owner unavailable to police within 60 hrs, if you just damage your own property then it's just a matter between you and your insurance.
Thats what my road code says anyway. Bad luck mate, wet roads eh!

Oh I think its much more then cosmetic. Saw some pretty decent chunks of metal on the road, hope it wasn't the frame or engine bits.

When I had my crash I didn't report it or talk to the police or anything.
But my bike got towed while I was away getting a trailer and the police phoned me a few months later to fill out a report.

Way to go mate... Swan isnt too bad to deal with.
We just picked the wrong time of the year to come off.
Swann just rang me they have my claim and the guy doing the assisment is a biker so he knows what to look for. He is comming today or tommorow.
Just rang my home and contents and they are getting the qoutes they need for everything else.
Might have mine back or money by the end of the month.
If you are behind meDont ask as I am lost too.

yeah they were very nice to deal with, they are definitely bikers as they knew what they were talking about. The guy even cracked a joke at the honda and that its my chance to get a Kawasaki or something 'different'
