    Have a crappy Christmas

Bah humbug. It's been one of those.

My little fella (14 months old) got crook the other day. We've spent the last couple of days in hospital. What a shit way to spend Christmas.

Anyway, I was killing time in the parents lounge at the hospital. Things started looking up when I spotted a bike mag amongst the womans weeklies and crap. Flicked it open, and the first thing I saw was a pic of Busajim (Balrog) and Zukin. Brought a big smile to my face.

Scott's write up on the DB1K 08 was awesome. I was hoping to go to the 09, but haven't yet got a bike suitable. Working on that problem furiously, but hard to justify 17k for a KTM 690E

Finally got little Bart home this afternoon. He's improving rapidly. Hospital staff were brilliant.

Makes you think eh. Things could be worse.

RIP Scott (Zukin).........a real good guy.

    Merry Xmas.

Called in at Feltex on Monday, doing a Wimbledon loop !
Only 3 vehicles in the parks.

You are most welcome to use my Clarke 16 litre tank.
Nearly 400 km if you go careful.

Was seriously thinking about it, but it's a long way just to the start line. Needs a bit of forward planning. See you in 2010 (I'll start planning now).

Yeah, we've shut down for a month. That Makairo track is going to get a thrashing. Going to do quite a bit of exploring once we get Christmas and New Year out of the way.

Where'd you get the big tank?

As its unsafe for you to go alone I'm prepared to sacrifice my holiday plans and join you. Would you be interested in doing it west and then east? (real men do it both ways)

He's heaps better today. Almost back to his normal mischievous self. He had some kind of virus. With meningitus and things, you can't be too careful. Few more tests to do.

Nice picture in the motorbike magazine. Got a hell of a surprise to pick up the mag and opened it to that exact page.

Here's some pictures from a couple of weeks ago. I don't think he's quite got the hang of the motorbike thing.
