    OK, am I the only sad ass still sitting at home havin a few quiets with the missus while the kids "fix" dads bike with nails and bits of wood in the shed?

    Sounds like you got what I had on Boxing day. Don't the councils up this part of the country know how to treat water? Don't worry - I did a 300km ride two days later with no ill effects Hope things improve for you.
