    yeah it was purangi.
best trail ride i've been on i reckon.
track was bulldozed not long ago by the looks of it and it had great grip even if those hills were papary you could find some loose stuff and find traction in it.
bit of a poor turnout i thought

I gave up my beloved 8% woodstocks and lost 5 kgs in 3 weeks. I guess I was drinking to much of them, just gotta give up the ciggies now.

I got a (moto? ) cross-trainer off trademe a little while ago. It's great cause I can do it in front of the tv in the evenings, no excuses like with my bicycle, too hot/cold/rainy/windy/dark (really I just don't want to be associated with those spandex weirdos ) try and do about 10k a night on it... Haven't seen much of it over the christmas break . Got back into it tonight, feels good! My fitness has def. improved since I've had it.
Not giving up the beers though, not over summer!

I think that you will be putting on heaps of weight if you have a beer everytime you fix your bike. Especially if you own a Suzuki...... LOL You just wouldn't stop drinking!!!!!

Its all cardio my man you can pump weights if you wanna impress the ladies ; whatever you do don't cutdown your intake! find a sport that yo enjoy and is not perhaps so intense as just running, like tennis or something
you may even find as you drop kilos you become a cheaper date too....... to do with thinning the blood and increased circulation. drink water when not swilling lager! fucking heaps of it.

Muscle mass plays a huge factor in the amount of calories you burn. So don't just focus on cardio.

if anyones keen to lose weight quickly, what i did worked mint.

stop eating shit food, drink only water, go for a walk up a decent sized steep hill every day, running as far as your fitness will allow, then run back down. make your dinner smaller.

lost 19kg in 12 weeks doing that.

also won a bunch of money in the competition i was competing in

then stopped and put half of it back on....

    back to it!

Yep I get the feeling every now and again that I should go do some exercise, so I just put an old areobics OZ style tape in the VCR, pop the top of a beer and lie back on the couch for an hour, excersize is good I can watch it for hours.

ha ha ha, all i did was stop drinking alltogether, drink 5 liters of water a day, and get out on the bike as much as i can (which is lots now that i dont have a missus.....yess!!). and try to have your meals at the same time every day.
