    1990 GSXR 250

In the T&E on thursday, I found a '90 GSXR 250 for $800, went around and bought it home on the trailer the next day for $500 not running, reg on hold, no WOF. Within an hour I had the thing running (It hadnt run in 6 months at least), and within 24 hours I had all the missing fairings and bits and pieces on and ready for a WOF, cept I then realised I needed a new lock for the tank, and fork seals done.

ANYWAY the purpose of this post is I got a new gauge cluster, and It is slightly different to the old one... It is in PERFECT nick with white gauges, having only one turn signal thingie and and extra light.

The order it goes in is " High Beam - (Unknown Jappa writing) - Turn - Neutral - Side stand - Oil "
I was just wondering what the Unknown one is, it was flashing at me when the revs get up (15k plus?) when testing the engine.

That's the 80kph warning alot of older Jap import bikes have on them. It's houldn't come on when you're stationary unless it has a short somewhere.

Ditto, might be just a loose wire but also could be another side stand switch?

But quite handy, when you're not watching the speedo in a 50K area

If anyone is interested :spudwave: - the bike is now all road legal, and has been painted "white" - its about the brightest white ive ever seen - would be mint if a cloud of dust and shit hadnt landed in the final clear coat on the two side fairings and a little on the back right

Got the seals done on the forks, new locks etc. passed the WOF no worries at all.

Take if for its first ride tomorrow (hopefully!)
