Fuel tank capacity is 27 litres.
    thats pretty impressive...dont you think..?

Not going to tell you a real lot slowey. we often get 50km - sometimes 80km - difference between riders on the test bikes.

The Firestorm (2002) has a 19LT tank depends on my riding if at legal speeds 100kph then 250(ish) km's to the tank

If riding at around 120-130 then 200(ish) Km's to tank.

Hard riding can be as low as 150km's

    500 to 600 kms.
Not having to worry about running out is good,a lot of day rides still need a top up though.

Our Tiger's fuel light usually comes on at just over 200 miles from full.

Fill usually takes about 18 litres, so that should mean about 6 litres left in the 24 litre tank. (96)

We have travel from Otematata to Oamaru (60miles/100km) with the fuel light having just lit up upon leaving home!

Not recommended: I do not like riding with my ringpiece clenched hard onto the seat!!!

I/we usually need food and toilet stop by the time the light comes up, so the bike can go further than we can these days!

We think the Tiger comfort is a as good or better than any previous bike we have ridden or owned. (there have been a few)

Recently geared up from 18 to 19 tooth front sprocket and there seems to be a noticable increase in the fuel range.

Haven't done an actual test yet but last time fuel light came on it was well over 200 miles from full. Hopefull, John.

1990 Bandit toof-iddy gets about 190-200 if I ride all nice like.
usually fill her up about 13L at 180k's on the trip.
She's a thirsty bitch, but might need a few twiddling minutes spent with the carbs or sommat?

330k's riding sensibly before hitting reserve (home to jacksons)still leaves about 7l of reserve though
Now I've put on a smaller rear sprocket and knoblies it's not so flash, around 280-290 before reserve ( and I don't ride quite so sensibly)

I used to get about 130-150k's on my RVF 400 but that would be pretty hard driving all the time. I got 170k's out of it once but that was all motorway at the speedlimit

Normally 220-230km on my supermoto, but I will start looking around 200, as just a bit more enthusiasm, and she starts sucking gas like a hooker getting a bonus.

Theoretical range would be around 285km (with my fuel economy figures) but I ain't gonna test that. Carrying an extra 5L odd of fuel on a holiday, just to be safe...

I get just over 250km out of an 18lt tank on the S3. It used to be a little better, but fueling mods have seen a decrease in economy.

15 litre tank - get 26 km/litre commuting so warning light comes on at 290 km (4 litres remaining) therefore another 100 km remaining = 390 km.

Touring improves mileage by up to 5km/l = 31 lm/l x 15 = 465 (on a perfect day). Whenever I go out with mates, they all have to stop way before I do, so I've never gone more than 375 km.
One slow ride from Hammy to Paihia, in heavy traffic saw me doing the 375 km before warning light on - 370/11=33.6 km/l, which gives a theoretical (but totally unrealistic) 505 km range.

    Happy New Year SF,

I'm hitting about 220km on my VL250 at the moment. It's still very much the commuter bike at the moment which means a lot of Auckland traffice (and drivers etc). I need to get it on the open road once I have some time.

Reckon if I cut down the beer and pies I might just get another 50k's, what ya reckin?
