Sometimes 1950 seems like about 10 minutes ago.

I remember at primary school we had to work out how old we would be at the millenium; gosh 24 seemed ancient.

2000??? How many bikes ago was that? I bought 7,sold 6.

There is a leap second this year - 61 seconds in the last minute...remember to set your clocks forward.

Only 2 - Tbird throughout - Trophy 1200 - come and gone - 4 years on the Buell now. That ride around Pirongia is three years ago!

I spent some of New Year's Eve 2000 (successfully) dissuading a former Hell's Angel from blowing up the local jetty with the stick of C4 he was carrying.

He did however spent the rest of the night sneaking up behind me and going pSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSTTTTTT!!!!

I still treasure the cover photo......

It pissed down for the Millenium New Years Eve,we had a huge Teepee, that leaked, the booze was shit.I went to sleep in the back of my van...and woke up to find the site deserted. They were all down at Cornwallis wharf watching the sunrise....no one bothered to kick my van to wake me up.
