Break in my new Quasi leathers

Familiarise myself with my new bike so that I feel comfortable enough to stop riding like a complete Nana. Upskill myself, especially in the areas of braking, cornering, slow speed stuff. Ummm, yeah, so pretty much everything really

Get to a track day and also have a crack at bucket racing.

    Dont:

    Stop to help drunk chinamen
    Snog too many men
    Fall off

    Easy really
Ah you bet me to it.
The only thing i need to change is that i plan on snogging NO men.

My 6R is already booked to 16th jan
Also considering rrrs on 18th jan that way i get a good start to the year and my goals.
If you cant fix it with a hammer, Its an electrical problem.

Only biking objective for 2009 is to see 2010 without getting hurt.

2010 objective - seeing 2011 without getting hurt - and a 6 week bike tour of South America or Asia.

An old mate of mine is quietly living on minimum hours, smoking weed and watching t.v...
With his girlfriend and her sister, same bed, same shower etc etc.

Fuck I loathe him so badly.

    *Tear*

EDIT: Did one of my goals for the year today, new rubber on the back.
Just a small smoked screen, touchup paint and regular cleaning to go!
Some people just can't seem to comprehend that they do not have the right to be unoffended in their lives.

I would like to give it a go around Taupo and Pukekohe. Problem with Pukekohe is it's such a high speed track, meaning the CBR will be redlining almost the whole time... not very good at 50,000+KM... Of course I will take it to the mechanic before the ride.

My other one is to put up signs around scenic drive. On one of the corners up a hill just after the corner that always has that wetspot and the gate on the right hand side (confusing I know!) there is no sign to say that there is a corner, I would easily call it a 35/45. When I first started riding, it caught me out many times, and to this day I still wonder why there is no sign. Just to save somebody's ass, it would be good to put an arrow stating it is a sharp corner.

Goals - like targets - OK if you aim for them, but miss..?

Admirable ambitions on here so far.

    My 2009 biker missions -
    • follow up successful 6R pass with 6F in Feb/May (depending on availability of 'suitable course' to fast-track)
Ride MORE / develop skills / be SAFE
Get racks or some way of carrying stuff for longer rides
Keep planning for REAL bike when I have 6F (confident...)
