    My idiot husband (Mike748)....

    ...has managed to simultaneously:

    * ruin our wedding anniversary
    * scare the bejesus out of me
    * trash plans for having friends round for a bbq

    by binning his Duc.

I was a lovely wifey and bought him a beautiful book on motorcycles for our anniversary (1st anniversary = paper, you see) and didn't complain when he went out for a ride with a friend for the morning. I took our newborn son out to the supermarket for supplies whilst the ride took place.

All I asked was that he be home by 11am to help set up for the bbq. Instead I come home from the supermarket to find him hooking up his trailer to go and retrieve his bike. He didn't even have the good grace to be apologetic, instead he was laughing about it!

To make his humiliation complete, I think he should have to post a picture of the damage. (Completely totalled RHS of bike).

He has since apologised but I have informed him I reserve the right to be cross with him for a bit longer.

Or make him stay at home while you go out learning to ride a bike and he gets to do the shopping and babysitting...

    BTW........Happy 1st anniversary........

PS: He isn't too badly bruised and broken is he?
PSS: Yep pic's would be great to see...
Thanks, but I already know how to ride - it was ME who got him into motorcycling (much to his father's chagrin) (a guess that makes me a REALLY good wifey?) and in fact I got my full licence before him. Just can't ride at the moment due to the little one.

He is a little bit sore - enough to punish him and teach him a lesson I reckon. His wounded pride is probably much harder to bear. I should just be grateful he is ok but I'm still a little too pissed for that!

Oh crap the poor bugger, he will be shattered about wrecking his bike. Make sure you give him heaps of love and attention to help him through his intolerable pain

Ain't that the truth! Oh well, you'll have to find new and creative ways to make it up to her, and forfucksakes, don't rebuild the bike in the lounge!

I did that once and I didn't get another anniversary!

If that was the punishment I'd make a lowside an annual event.

I'd be reviewing whether or not to have a 2nd anniversary if my wife called me an idiot in a public forum.

Well, that's one Duc where it belongs... in the workshop!

    Badum tish

Good thing you didn't need an appointment with the bone mechanic though!

It is preferential to refrain from the utilisation of grandiose verbiage in the circumstance that your intellectualisation can be expressed using comparatively simplistic lexicological entities. (...such as the word fuck.)

Nope, Familial Relationships 101. Don't bag spouses or relatives publicly when they screw up. Give them a good kicking in private, but make sure they know they have your support no matter what.

Yea, I think the title and the post has a nasty sexist theme to it. Try starting one called "My idiot wife" and see what happens
