Bikes ready now...Yipee. I need to decide what tyre to use on the rear...Any Suggestions guys? I was thinking of trying a 110 on the rear, Hoping it might provide some extra grip..Have any of you tried this before and what were the results like?
had a look at the long range weather forecast and it looks like there may be some rain to contend with, I usually stay away from the wet and slippery stuff, got to give it a go sometime though. cant wait for the race.

I'm going to strip my bike down tonight and see how it goes and try to get there.

my 450 had a 120 standard but i use the MS3 normaly although i just put on a MH3 for a change thought i would give a go prob is they only go up to 110 but they hook up well even had to go down to a 100 on my 426 as there was nothing left in the 110 at the time less weight to turn that hooked up real well but was a bit to skinny.

I was thinking of using the 250kxf for the event as i dont fancy hanging off the back of a 450 for two hours. my kx has a standard 100 on the rear but i have a 110 from my 450 just sitting at home and was wondering if it would provide more grip than the 100. I 've been told it alters the handling as in that it tends to feel a little heavier in more than one respect.
Just wondering if its worth trying it for the race or sticking with what i am used to

Its BF Goodrich Crossengo that i bought for the 450 and used for two hours and then got a bridgestone m404. so this tyres just sitting there one side has 2hours but the other side is absolutely fresh with good bite. i was thinking maybe running 12 psi to get a greater surface contact. i ve been told that they do, there is enough side clearance from the looks of it. Maybe its better left alone, i could try it out at a trail ride to see if it really helps. Cheers Though!

    Decisions, decisions.....

I just had a look at the forecast and it isn't great at the moment, I'll see what it does by saturday and make a last minute decision to go or not.....call me a nana, go on......
If it's light showers in the morning it should be ok but any more than that and I will be spending all my time lying down on the hills and I ain't doing that!

Hopefully the rain will hold off, cause the bikes all ready to go....
