Yeh I think I need to replace the spokes cause they are bent as weel as stuck. I managed to loosen a few, but I think it will be better to respoke it before I fuck it.

If it's light showers in the morning it should be ok but any more than that and I will be spending all my time lying down on the hills and I ain't doing that!

Hopefully the rain will hold off, cause the bikes all ready to go....
C'mon now ! i dont reckon its going to rain hard(as per the extended forecast) A little rain will help keep the dust down which will make for good safe racing(its kinda good when you can see where you are going). I reckon its going to be a blast. Thanks to Vazza i will be able to make it to the event... Ahh yes, Thanks barty5 !! for the generous offer to hide under your tent if it rains. See you guys at the event & best of luck to all with thier bike preparation.

I've made predictions like this before too......

Actually you're correct, the latest forecasts are improving so I'm sure I will be there, look out for a blue Isuzu with IDS Design on it.

Quick note to those that havnt been before turn up early it takes time to set up and register round 1 we got there bout an hour and a quater before and hardly had time to set up and get to the start. by the time you set up fuel etc. etc. it gose real quick and you dont want to be rushed creates stress which leads to bad ride.

True that !! happened to me at woodhill. Trying to get there this time by 9:30ish . Which to be honest is just enough to set up without having to rush.

Hope the weather holds out!!! Gonna be great fun, bikes all ready to go =D!

Sadly I snapped my footpeg clean in half last weekend at woodhill. Never heard of that happening before. Managed to order the last one in the country. $175.50 later. Cheers Yamaha!

    Dumb question time:
I assume we turn up, register, have a briefing, start the race, ride for two hours then collapse in a heap. Am I missing something?
Your comment about "setting up fuel" worries me, should I be planning on refueling during the race? If we do, i assume that means we leave the fuel can by the trailer and stop half way thru to top up....sound about right?

Any advise is more than welcome!

kinda got it track will be 16ks so pending on what you ride and how many laps you do you will want to Refuel.
race start you start 6-8 bike at a time. they scan your helmet each lap after that it your choice you keep going for another lap bypas the pit lane or if you need fuel then you pit and can grab extra drink or energ food at same time (you shouldnt have to after one lap ) you just keep going doin as many laps as you can in the 2 hrs if you cross the line at 1:59:59 you get to do another lap once your 2 hrs are up the next time you cross the line its race over.
Sign on is from 10:00 breif at 11:15 race 11:30 aim to be there no later than 9am time will go real quick drink heaps (water) prerace today and in morning (make sure you have good piss prerace)

Most of all make sure you have fun and if i come up behind yah in the race gat outa the way.lol
