    It's the latest cool trend. Following on from the 'friends' concept of Facebook and such like. Y'know how all racehorses are assumed to be born on the same day (they are, anyway). So, Gen-Y have decided to synchronise their birthdays with their friends. This allows for awesome birthday parties. And by having several circles of friends you can have several birthdays each year. Which makes that all important 16th birthday come round much sooner (well, it's not much importance in NZ, but they are fussier about such things in the USA Bible Belt)

    it really brightened up my day to see all the wishes I've been recieving... unfortunately it's been a shitty day at work, well besides the senior nurse giving me a cake and some chocolate and surprising me with it in between consults!
