Not a hope in hell. Nightriding is definitely not a good idea in a group, particularly when 'strangers' ride in the group.

I don't mind riding in the dark, yes it's cooler but it has it's negatives for me.
1. Excessive amounts of bug goo all over your gear, visor and bike makes for a messy cleanup job.
2. Light glare off visors from oncoming vehicles, especially the twits who don't dip fast enough.
3. If it rains then you can't see a bloody thing with oncoming traffic.
For me now, riding in the dark is something I will do if I have to but not something I choose to do.
If the destination is more important than the journey you aint a biker.

yeh, guess I could come along to save your bacon if necessary (fancy a field trip). Putting it bluntly tho, I wouldn't be happy if those prone to binning came along, as it only gets harder in the dark.
Night riding is not about seeing if you can ride at day pace, its about smooth lines, almost zen like, with the outline of the helmet, dash and headlight.
Creatures are in much greater abundance and road surfaces cannot be assumed. I would say experienced riders only, with the right attitude.
Fuel is also a factor, so gas ranges have to be known, and where stations are (why I started the other thread)
