And the noise - imagine pulling up next to Jonny CRX at the lights with a bike sounding like a US Navy F18!!! sheeeeesh.......puts the shits up them.

Rev range of 52,000 RPM and only two gears.......and no engine braking - shite.

mm, speaking of noise, I wonder whether it might not actually pass those EU noise regulations!! I rather think the necessary silencer (and shroud) would be a similar size to the bike itself! perhaps its only a late great american pipe dream that will function in the Land of the Free and unlegislated state?

Diesel? So you'd have to pay RUC on it?

Wonder what sort of mpg/range it's got with a 34litre tank.

    Re the Kawasaki??

I just like big flaps oooeeerrrr!!!
I'm one of the worlds best riders. I can wheelie, I can stoppie, I can stunt, hell I can get my shoulder down. I could keep up with Rossie if I wanted to race.

Then I go from bed to bike and somehow it all turns to crap.

On the TV once, I saw a push bike with this little jet engine some guy had built. I think it was a Jeremy Clarkson show. Anyway, there was footage of this bike going through a park, and it sounded amazing (Jeremy assured the viewer that it was not enhanced). This sort of VVVRRRRROOOOOOOSSSSSHHHHHH sound. Mmmmmmm. Top speed was only 50mph or something, but cool for a push bike.

i saw that one... I loved the look of utter bewilderment from the two old ladies he went past! He made a good point tho: no driver could get off a charge of careless use of a vehicle if they hit you with the excuse 'But I couldn't hear you coming!'

Looked on the web and top speed was actually 70 mph. Imagine doing that on a push bike.

Hmmmm ........wonder if you could stick an afterburner on that turbine bike - use the exhaust to good effect!
