I could have/can lifted the bike myself, however I have a hernia and knowing my luck I would've done something to myself!

haha, I decided not to partake in the drowning, decided to stay home and clean my dirty bikes. Haven't heard from #1 yet, so maybe they did a good job of drowning Hels and are trying to pump the water from her lungs!

Depends if you have a general permission to be on the bike. I've let girl friends have a ride up and down the street on my bike but only when I was there to watch and any other time they aren't to touch my bike.

Anyway.. honesty is always best. And if you are sincere pay for repairs is a good thing to do.

Well today is another day! Big thanks to TSS for getting in a clutch lever that was a perfect match for the original. Learnt something new today as well.... Honda released the VF400's and 500's with hydraulic clutches in the 80's but all other later models used lines..... Just in case anyone cared.

So I put the new clutch lever on took it round the block a few times (there was this little dog I was trying to torment) and she's running sweet. Apparently I didnt do all the scratches that I had thought that i'd done either, so only a few day's of sexual favours required. Malcolm can now take the VFR to Manfeild this weekend. PHEW!
