Would you buy another bike same as old one?

Grass is always greener eh......

If I wrote mine off I'd consider it an unplanned upgrade. I'm already mulling over switching to a naked, motard or thou or maybe even a twin for my next bike even though I love my 600rr to bits.

With so many different bikes to love you have to get to know a few intimately I reckon.

Does that make me a slut?

I did it.

I had a 02 Hayabusa that had 20k on it when I got it second hand. I rode it for 2 years, and bought a new K7.

The K8 was not available yet, but I was happy with the Busa being as much of everything as I would ever need, and I had never had a brand new bike, I had some $$ (for once) and I took the plunge.

I love my Busa!

I tried to when my nc30 was stolen, but unintentionally ended up with the nc35 - and i don't buy bikes with the intention of selling them again

the real question you should be asking yourself is, were you finished with your bike?

trademe900 bought and sold about four nc30 in 2008!

Its healthy to keep an open mind. I'd like to test a Superduke, an Aprillia, and a Buell. I suspect that this'd confirm the ST4 is the bike for me but without checking, who knows? I do know that no multi has ever felt right since I got the Duke.

Yes, I'd buy another Ducati, probably an ST3.

I'm a wheeler and dealer, always buying and selling my vehicles, but for christs sake. Why did he buy and sell 4 NC30s? Were they all lemons?

It's not that hard: test-ride a heap of possible replacements. If they're better'n your Duke, great! If they're not, then either do a Steel Awesome on the dead one ("We can rebuild him! We can make him better than he was before!!") or get another Duke as close as possible in spec, and work from there.

So no for me

I'm always looking for another one to ride.......to find a keeper

A bit like when i was a teenager but riding other things

Can't do that any more or the missus would kill me and my bank balance....

When you find a bike you gel with that does everything you want and you know it inside and out and enjoy riding it and have been hard pressed to find anything better: even after riding other bikes etc, then stick with what you know.

I traded my K2 GSX1400 after running up another 30,000kms on it for the latest model back at the end of 06, only cos I got a real good trade in deal.

I've since done 27,000kms on my 'new' one and have never regretted buying the same and have still not come across anything I would consider a replacement at this point. Other bikes have been tempting and some I might consider seriosuly but not at the price they are.

I've had some that I intended to keep (or at least, hadn't thought about replacing), but none that were so good I'd replace them if I could with the same bike.
