How do you take that kind of photo? The movement blur. Do you point the camera and follow the bike during the short shutter time?

If you can make it on Kiwibiker you can make it anywhere.

Yep, basically. It's called panning. Keep following the bike in the viewfinder and keep pressing the shutter button at the same time. Take heaps because only half of them will come out okay. (if you are lucky)

You can even make a bucket look fast with that technique
Are you presetting the focus and trying to hit that point when panning through the arc, or is that just my numpty way of doing things?
Nice shots dipshit, are you heading to Levels get some more?

I myself was letting the autofocus earn its keep. (it was working overtime!)

I would like to but will be working a nightshift Saturday night (7pm to 7am)... so see how much sleep I can get and how I feel on Sunday.
