    yz 125 with 144 kit .. what do these go like

    Hmmm well the title really said it all.. just wondering if someones got one or ridden one ?? also anybody know what the kit consists of i was told it was only a different head but dont see how they get extra capacity with only a head ???

    It comes with the whole oversized top end, its basically a big bore kit, no stroking.
    From what I have read on the net they are great with more power everywhere in the rev range.

    Thanks azzman, thats good to know, just looking at down sizing, and had heard a couple of good things about them

    i have ridden a couple of KX139's and 144's, they are a awesome bike, like a 125 with more bottom end, you loose a little bit of over rev but they are much better to ride off road and cross country,

    if you order a kit form the states, make sure it is set up for the fuel you are going to use,

    Cheers for that scott411 im just weighing up the options
    at themo .. i think im probably to big for a 125 ..im starting to find my yz426 to much of a handfull weight wise im an old bugger thats got a slightly dodgey ticker
    i can ride it fine but when the going gets really tough im having problems.. i can ride my sons yz250 2t fine but was thinking the 125 would be even lighter
    if you think life is 2 short , get a taller one

    at the belay the guy that got 3rd in the intermediate under was a 105kg and was on a 125.(he made a point in his speech that 125's can move a big guy....)

    what about a ktm 200?, 125 size n weight, 200cc get up and go.
