Red face Pants? We don't need no stinking pants!

You'd know it if you saw it.

This morning I traveled into work all good, weather was slightly overcast, but nothing major, so I didn't bother even thinking about the Wet weather gear. Oh my, how that changed.

    A little background then.

We had planned a fancy dinner tonight, and I had sorted out my clothing the night before. Only problem is, I currently only own one set of nice black pants, and I also happened to need them for work as well. Wore 'em to work, was intending on rocketing home after work, getting changed into the rest of my somewhat decent clothes that aren't Slayer t-shirts, and heading straight out for dinner. Or so I planned.

It pissed down here at about 5pm, just as I was scheduled to leave for dinner. I knew that if I wore those black pants that I would be regretting it, and couldn't imagine the bollocking I would recieve if i wasn't looking my best.

I did what I never thought I would do. I put my pants into a plastic bag in my backpack in order to keep them dry, and rode home with no pants on. In the rain. I got drenched.

If you were the bike that passed me on the Harbour bridge, and did a double take. I understand. My legs are quite pale. And it was freezing.

And yet, didn't have one "Sorry Mate" situation on my way home, EVERYONE SEEMED TO TAKE NOTICE. Perhaps it's safer wearing no pants than full gear sometimes. I'm an ATGATT kinda guy, but I guess everyone has their price.

Don't know why i'm sharing, but Dinner was lovely.

    Goodnight.

OMG I wish I had seen that! Would have made my day!

And I haven't seen rain like that since winter. Hope it washed the roads nice and clean.

Yeah, I did have boxers on. Was certainly the highlight of my week. The ride was better than Dinner.

A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

Pics won't happen, unless I decide to re-enact it.

And with regards to Shrinkage, yes. It was cold. And wet. And cold. I would say there's still plenty to go around, but that's a blatant lie.

One advantage is the shrinkage does lead to a more comfortable ride with a little more space between you and the tank.
