    L plate drivers

I had my son driving us North towards Amberley today on a bit of an outing so he could have a bit of driving practice, anyhoo, we had the usual line up of cars behind us at times but no real major, then we had 3 big arse Harley's catch us up, oh shit im thinking, these riders will get sick of sitting behind an 'L' plate and will end up scaring the shit of my boy. There where plenty of gaps where if they gave it a fist full they would have got pass but not these riders, they sat back, gave my lad nothing to worry (tail-gating) about, then after about 10 minutes and a big gap in the oncoming traffic, they just eased out and went passed carefully and where on they merry way.
Big ups to these 2 fellas and 1 chick out enjoying the wind in there face while I was bloody happy being driven around by my son learning to drive.
It was one of those moments where he got to see that bikers (well most )really are a shit hot bunch of people. Cant wait to teach him how to ride to open road on 2 wheels.
Again, thanks to the 3 on the farkn nice Harleys for giving my boy all the room.

Sadly - it shouldnt be worth even mentioning - assuming that we all ride like we should.

STOP THE PRESS - A group of bikers rode sensibly and considerately.

Heck if we find this noteworthy - then perhaps Katman has a point afterall

Thanks for the warm fuzzy story, Mr Bear! I hope the Harley riders live happily ever after.

    to the Harley riders!

Just as the riders approached our car I was just saying to PapaBears' son how they are probably gonna roar pass.. But we were very pleasantly surprised and thankful they didn't!

For once someone acknowledged the L plater!

Rock on you Harley guys. I have an L plate daughter and its great when people give her a little consideration.
