Speed freaks

Was pootling between Pirongia and Te Awamutu this am and was passed by some dude on a Harley, quickly followed by another dude in a Mazda RX8...both going at some rate of knots....how fast? Well I don't know 'cause when I tried to clock them I made no impression on the ever increasing distance even at (coughcough)km/hr.....so I just settled back down and enjoyed the ride. Hope they made it to the fire they must have been going to.........

I hate to say it but the harley could have been one of my uncles, LOL,

They haven't growen up yet and always love to give cagers a run for their money,

One specially i don't think will be on this planet long(sadly) LOL

Welllll that may not be true - I just decided not to try after a certain point, in view of the fact that the road goes past many farm gates and previous experience suggests that the likelihood of Farmerrr Browwwnnnn pulling out on his tractor is a little higher than zero......

Some time ago I came round a corner to find Mrs Farmer Brown using the road as a headland for her ride on mower......now she got more of a scare than I did...(I had seen the fresh cut grass on the road...)
