GOT MY FULL... wot to buy?

Got my full licence, so ive sold my cbr250R :-(... My 2nd cbr, ive also owned a hornet 250, nsr, rgv and a few dirti bikes too. Im 23 now and have the need for more cc for touring, trackdays and odd commute... and take the missus out for a blast, the wee cbr struggled here. It also struggled to go any faster than 195kmh. Im pretty set on sticking with HONDA, and spend no more than 10grand prefferably. Ive seen VTR1000s for $6-7 g on trademe, similar prices for early fireblades and later model cbr600s. Even the hornet900s are very good bang for buck but lacks the fairing, which i need for highspeed fun. Also Yamahas FZR1000 exups are hugely fast and cheap..... ANY suggestions?

CBR600RR would be great for trackdays, small enough to get around the city nicely and fast enough to keep you entertained, plus they've got more kick than the 900 Hornets. Or if you're looking for something more touring-oriented even a CBR600F can usually be found in that range.

Yeah if i could get hold of a later model cbr600F4i with fuel injection, its perfect really, VTR1000s are similar price and perfomance though, and theres heaps of them to choose from...

Tl1000s are cool but id rather stick with honda so if i go big Vtwin... id get the VTR. And no kawasakis thats 4 sure. The fuel consumption is heavy on the VTR tho, could be those 48mm carbs... so the cbr600 is looking good... but then the VTR has a big torque advantage also....

The bigger VFR are awesome comfy for commuting and plently of balls. You can't go wrong with a CB900 Hornet either. CBR f4i are mean fun also.

Wouldn't really recommend a VTR 1000, more as a toy than a tool.
