Oh yeah, Mrs Biff Baff its time that you got your own profile on here... :spudwave:

I had that once the old love your bike more than me routine. So I just gave her a slap and told her to get out of my garage. Easy
Nah just kiding boys and girls. Kath's ultra cool about bikes (unless they're parked in the kitchen at 08:00 eh Jimmy) and respects my penchant for them. That's why I love her all the more................the bike I mean.

Damn sure I would not want someone to do it on mine (Besides which the carbon fibre don't get too hot) but would be quite a feat given the angles and curves

Heh.. I told the vifferbabe about this, and there was a sharp intake of breath, and she said summat like, "Oh no! He didn't!! He's done it now!!"Originally Posted by Biff Baff
I had a similar scenario, up until last year, when she started riding with me. I got so sick of it, if she said anything about the bike, I'd say, "Look, I've told you before - if it's a choice between the bike and you, I'll sell the bike. It's just a thing!" I also threatened to sell it a few times when she was worried about cashflow, and she backed down, because she knew I'd lose heaps on it. Like I did when I traded it in.![]()
Now everything's sweeeeet...

She said, "But I spoze I'd have to start on a 250?". So I pointed out the VTR250 was a nice bike, and I wouldn't mind having one. She said, "Yeah - I could ride that, and you could ride the VFR, and on some rides we could both go on the VFR. Then you could use the VTR for commuting, and save the VFR for longer rides!"
Interesting..... very interesting....

Hey Vifferman, maybe that was me?? My boyfriend's got the yellow VFR800 and I've got the 400 (bought by me, 4 the record!). Was really nice to meet the both of you yesterday. We girls were chatting and my friend Karen, also a pillion on the ride yesterday was saying about getting her learners and I thought I noticed a gleam of interest in your own vifferbabe's eyes....!!!!. Excellent news! By the way, was that raptor the one of the ride yesterday with the personal plate? Very nice looking bike.
No, no, no, no, no.
Guys, guys, don't get me wrong here. Ladies on bikes are good things. Riding as a couple, either two up or on separate bikes are a good thing. Encouraging the missis to get a moped, learn to ride and possibly progress onto a 'proper' bike should she get the bug, also a good thing.
Getting the missis a bike, her getting the bug, her then demanding that she's allowed out on said bike in order to practice, go for a ride etc - not good for our household. Who will do my dinner, ironing, washing etc?
As newbies to this wonderful country, and with two young offspring, we've yet to manage to find any babysitters to look after the kids should we wish to out. So this leaves me having to find the time for me to:
Ride my bike
Play golf
Go to the pub
Go sailing
Go kayaking
Go walking
Go to the gym.
If Ms Biff then rides a bike then that would be pure selfishness on her part, eating into my ‘relaxation’ time, forcing me to spend time with my offspring.
How on earth would I manage to fit in all my extra curricular activities?
(No feminists were harmed in the writing of this post. Biff has now hidden in a remote hill side cave until such a time as all the bra's have been burnt and wimmin with knives, stakes and other sharp implements have been removed from the area, their respective nails clipped and my dinner is on the table waiting for me).
Ms Biff here
Mr Biff is an arsehole and is trying to pretend he wears the trousers in our house. I am the boss, and he's lucky that I let him go out at all.
Now I've just spanked his backside and sent him to his room!!
He will be buying me a bike soon. Well probably a moped so that I can learn to balance first. Then I fancy something really fast, so I can make him look like the big girl he really is!!!
As for getting myself a profile on here, I don't see any point yet. I sit over his shoulder and watch what he says most of the time anyway. But as soon as I get a motorised two wheel vehicle he'd better watch out, because I'll be hogging the PC instead of him.

Why yes, it was you. Sorry for seeming antisocial, and we were really sorry we didn't catch up with you guys at the races (we did look around), because we would've liked to continue the chattings.Originally Posted by Stroker Girl

And we were only supposed to be window-shopping for a helmet...
Ended up costing us $6000, plus $400 for the helmet we bought after that...
Then yesterday, we were standing by all the bikes parked, and a blue Triumph trundled past. "Oooooooooh.... Nice!":spudwhat:
I dunno... I reckon she's been abducted by space aliens, and that the current one is an imposter. On Friday, she bought me not one but two (2!) bike magazines, and a naughty calendar of "bikes 'n babes". And she keeps planning bike trips for us to do...

Not more, not less, just.... differently, for different reasons. The whole "apples and oranges" deal.
Actually, Mrs Wolf wants a bike of her own - an Indian, no less(!) - so she can have her own ride at events and we can carry a child each (once they're big enough to reach the pegs)
An Indian and a Beemer? - some dreams can get costly (and then wait til the boys want their own bikes...)
Tis good to see all the lads are learning....![]()
It will be good to see more women riders out there on the roads..![]()
So lets hear it for the women..... YAY...![]()

Good god!
Am I glad Kelz already had her bike and stuff when I met her and I didn't have this drama. In fact it was her who had the license and me (but having ridden off road all my life - apart from now and again) that didn't.
Fact was it was something I'd always thought about but never quite got round to.
Chrissy-Bimbo (Mrs SD to you yobbos) is a bike whore, ANY excuse for us to get the bike out and go for a "skid" and she's pushing me, why, she even had the nerve to suggest we go for a ride when I was in the middle of cutting the lawns today!!![]()

" Life is not a rehearsal, it's as happy or miserable as you want to make it"
After I married my first wife, on our way to our honeymoon, she turned to me and said "of course, now we're married you'll sell all your bikes won't you" I had about 5 bikes at the time, and like a fool I agreed. About three months later I was looking through the motorcycles for sale section in the paper and saw a bike I just had to have. I commented to my wife that I was going out for a couple of hours, and when pressed, I confessed I was going to town to buy a bike. She commented that if I arrived home with a new bike then she was leaving.Originally Posted by cliffy
