How Old Should A Child Be Before Riding A Motorbike

My first son was doubling on our Z50 at 2years old & my 2nd boy has just started doing the same at 20 months old . Oldest boy now nearly 7ys rides round in the front paddock by himself , with me watching . But bike is locked up in the shed when not in use , so there is no way he can use it if I'm not around . Feel very much for the parents . But with motor bikes come some risks & supervision is a most till old enough to know the risks involved .

When my dad brought my brother Robert and I the CRF, it was basically just a fun bike to just ride around on. It was me and Robert who wanted to start racing. I started racing the KX with road tyres around carparks, and now have the CBR and going to race in the Manfield winter season and Robert has the KX and is getting into MX. We were never forced into racing
