I've said it before, I'd actually secured one of the first ones here in NZ'd but when we discovered it was race only & had no alternator or lights I didn't think she'd be any good as a road bike as that's where I do all my miles

Hindsight is such a wonderful thing

still my all time favourite machine. Mate was @ Strada (well I think it was there) before Christmas & they had one in there, could'nt wait to ring me & tell me all about it, Bastard.

Being the hobbit I am I have the opposite problem with leg room. I find the V11 riding position fits my little legs perfectly (apart from the reaching the ground bit

) but a couple off mates over six foot finds they smack there knees on the heads. Guess you just have to sit on one to find out if your legs are too long or not. If you ever see me & my bike around, introduce yourself & find out if it fits or pop into Street n sport on Manchester st, they have a V11sport for sale.

I'm about 5'10" and find the V11 comfortable enough to ride all day. Mine has clip-on bars but the riding position is very natural (I'm not stretched over the tank, craning my neck to see where I'm going like the Ducati 996 I had). There's even room for my belly... :-(

As the previous poster said, there's one in Street & Sport so you may as well give it a go. They're a nice lot in there actually.

They will let you ride it as well.
But do not just ride around the block go for a good long ride as they are a funny beast at first and will grow on you.

I thought I had better chime in with mine, a V11 Rosso Mandello, bought six monthes ago from Motomart, and I am still really pleased with it, a real hoot to ride and it makes my commute a lot more enjoyable.

The plate is Italian for "Royal". The founding members of Moto Guzzi had served in the Italian Airforce together, the service went on to be known as Regia Aeronautica or Royal Airforce. This was my way of paying homage to the founding fathers.

I wanted 'LEMON' but it was already gone so got 78MK1 and LEMNZ (not the best but it was second hand for 2 hundie)
