I think the V11 Sport (and Le Mans) is one of the best looking machines that Guzzi designed. The styling is well-balanced and just right.

However, IMHO the MGS-01 takes the cake for THE BEST looking Guzzi though.

MGS-01 agreed, but I thought the modern Le Mans was sooo wrong, Guzzi lost it when the went away from the 1100 Sport Styling I'm afraid. But hey we're both biased I suspect When I first tested the V11 when I had my 1100 Sport I thought nooo way !! did like the gear box though, test rode the Le Mans & she just felt wrong. My mates 1200 Sport is an interesting concept, very comfortable & something I could spend all day on

Molly- Never really seen a tatty V11 for sale, maybe the Kiwi's look after them (after we import bulk second hand low km ones from Japan and the USA)
The cheapest one I have seen went for 7K and it was pretty ok. Unfortunately due to said imports the going rate for them has dropped quite a bit in the last 2 years. 2 years ago they were 12K+ now arount the 9-10K mark and probably not set to go up for a long while because there are plenty about, and quite a lot of factory 'special' variants too.

Dangerous- I too met PaulNZ (and his better half) at Ottamatta for the first time, but he had been very supportive (jus' like the dad I never 'ad) with my Mk1 via email like the top fella he is. Swore we would go for a ride some time, took until this year- but by chance I had my Mk2 as well and that was cool.

some pictures of a development project I did for a rally(Opononi). I do live in West Auckland so I guess I can be perhaps forgiven- it was over a period of 6 weeks before we were set to leave, I finished with 1 day to test it. It is not just cosmetics, the engine went out to 950, twin plugs, elec ign, timing gears, surflex clutch etc etc

    Nice bikes Dodgyiti.

I have ordered my seat and side covers thru Dave at euroglass. That'll complete the look and she'll be all ready to comply.

    Andy.
It's actually one bike I dragged out of a shed in the Coromandel that had not been going in 8-9 years, t'was all seized up inc the brakes. waved my pimping hand over her in an intensive flurry.

Did you get Mk1/2 sidecovers or the fabled 750 Sport ones?
And if you got Mk1/2- are you going to chop out the gills and mesh behind? That looks trick

True, had they kept on with the 1100 sport and called it the Lemans then thigs would be different... however Aprila took over MG and they didnt want to see MG building hard sports bikes, and I think thats why MG have backed away from the real LeMans and the purpos they were built for.
Remember the MGS01 is a brian-Ghezi bike not Guzzi.
