I think that's my old Lario in that 2nd pic. Looks like the headers I made for it. Your bits fit real well on that. Sold it after it dropped a valve.

I must have been sleeping under a log, and after disscovering this porn... Oooh, I was talking 8v to Mrs Bullet tonight.... must be hitting the right chord when she spat out "F^*%ing get it!!!!" yeah right... this is just another painful Tui add.

But anyways.... I am liking the griso with wire wheels, Tenni paint... The Griso 8vSE.

    Is Pillion displayed an option?

Sooo could this be my next Guzzi???

You have only sampled two of the range, albiet from both extremes.

Try the cafe sport when it comes in, being a Breva type 750 it will have plenty of usable power in legalish speeds. Still not cheap though- estimates from my dealer is around 18K!

I will be bringing something old school for the rally, your welcome to have a try, then breaking it to your better half that you need 5K for bike improvements will be easier than the $$ of a trade up. I know you look after your Grizzler but a dealer would not offer a heap for it due to the recent low km grey imports that have been coming in. (I know of one with 6,300km that changed hands for 15.5K on the road!!)
The bike upgrade being that you now have two bikes!
    Cunning eh?
And the appreciation of the older iron will compensate for the Griso, well in reality probably not but it does make a semi plausable case

That'll do for me, conclusive proof that hot chicks love Guzzis, indisputable it's in colour.

By the way, I saw one of those bikes, (yes she's on a bike look closer) at whangas yesterday and it wasn't looking quite that well, a right bucket of rust but testament to the engine that it was still running. What bike is it guys, stylish for an old fella.

Depreciation is only a bummer if you go to sell, hence my suggestion, anyway- there is nothing wrong with the Griso. You made a good buy for a great all rounder, wish sometimes I still had mine

Are there any MGS-01's in NZ?
(apart from that one in Auckland amongst the Aprilias and Benellis)

    2 other things,.....

    - Opening those Guzzi Chicks link at work was a little scary...ie working at a Council with PC people here......

    - I love that colour of the Griso SE. Nice to see a V11 Sport in that colour.

Great photos & links, I'm intrested in hearing from any V11 lemans owners whats the leg room like for a 6'3" frame. Luv the looks of these.
Stirs up the memories of the Mk2 & 3's (then Guzzi unfortunately lost the plot with the 4&5's)

Leg room on a V11 is about as roomie as it gets unless you consider a Quota.

    Wink

I think we will agree to disagree on the 5.
Certainly on the money for the v11 series lemans in various guises.
I used to shoe horn into an '86 750F1 so I understand "as roomie as it gets".
