Nah - that's what I said 6 months ago would happen. The R1s cleaned up the European championships. Yamaha haven't been sitting around doing nothing.

28th just goes to show the Ben Bostrom does suck after all.

Its going to be good (1st race next sunday on sky). Its a new track, hence the testing this weekend and most of the teams have only had their bikes for a few weeks.

People who should improve this year are Steve Martin - finally with factory support (that he should have had years ago) even if it is with petronas.

Sebastian Gimbert - kind of rides like laconi - but I dont think they cameras will show much of him.

Chilli on the Honda - is going to be fun.

I'm hoping Bussei will do well on the kwaka as well - He makes McCoys old beard look neat and tidy

But there are so many familiar riders its hard to really pick who will do well.

In the axe murderer class I'd have to go with Charpentiar again with a good showing from goorbergh (although I dont think the dukes will cut it against the japanese bikes)

Good to see a finish rider in there now.. One day there may even be a kiwi rider in there

Don't see why it shouldn't,it's not as though Super 12 is a real sport.

In standard tirm they don't quite make the hp the fours do, and are generally a little bit on the heavier side too, amazing the differnce two extra cylinders can do to a bike. Its quite amazing that the 749 can hack it with the japas.

Most 600cc will give a production 1000cc v twin a run for its money, not only in a straight line but everywhere.
