    fuk i dunno
Nah leave the oil as it is.

I'd recommend talking to Linton at Dirt Action Services 03 3890080. He sorted a good base to start from, as he knows gassers inside and out, and also the places you would go riding. Not all bikes come jetted well out of the box. Also Linton can supply LTR jtting kits for the bikes for around $50, where as tripplex quoted me over $150.

Also Reckless on here is vey knowledgable and has a lot of experience with experimentation.

I have been searching on the overseas forums, gasgasrider, thumpertalk, etc but have yet to find any info from anyone who has done rejetting for a bike the sam as mine, and I didnt know that LTR made a jetting kit for a 07 ec125
but ill give him a call, he keeps coming up as the gasgas guru of sorts

Can anyone recommend how to remove the needle holding bolt inside the slide, mine is a 6mm bolt, but its stripped, not from me, and I cant get it out to see what the needle and clip settings are
we may just go where no ones been

Yeah give him a call, he keeps all my details on file (jetting, exhuast, gearing etc) So that when I ring for a part he can give me the best for my bike and type of riding. The bonus of this he can lok at other peoples file to see what worked for them. Plus his prices inc frieght are far cheaper than I ever found round here. good luck

Same - actually, the plug I have in now is on the second piston(which has given me around 120 hrs service).
I mix my oil at 32-1 and never have I had to clean the plug. The plug i have in there is a NGK B9ES and the bike is a kdx250. But on that note I think I will replace it for a new one to be on the safe side lol.

I've only read the last page or so Noobi but if there's oil and shit dripping out the pipe its too rich somewhere for sure. It probably fouled on the Riverhead ride cause you never had the chance to let it have a blast. This alone doesn't prove its rich in a certain area though ( low or high) as you may have been in the main just long enough to still foul the plug if its rich there?

Plugs:I had my first plug clap out on me over xmas other than that have never had to replace one that often. Easily done over 100 hours on most of them. But with a 2 smoker it never hurts to have one in the pack back spare in case you tip it on its lid and flood it really bad, or one simply gives up on you.

You do need to strip the carb down and see what its settings are now!

Rupes correct and I'd call linton his local knowledge could save alot of pain, sufferng and testing.

Don't worry about what they may or may not do in the USA mate, different sea level, humidity, atmoshere etc etc doesn't apply here!

Its very hard to tune over the internet but it could be something as simple as a pilot jet change and this is often where the problems are. I dont have a magic answer for your needle holding bolt hopefully its the bolt stripped not the slide. The stripped bolt also indicates someone has had quite a fiddle with it.

So my 2c would be to, see whats in it, give Linton a call see what he recommends, then you have to make a judgement call on what you want to do. Tuning a 125 correctly can make quite a difference. You really need to be able to read a used or new plug to go from there. There is a few threads on here about that, do a search. Just remember generally you can't blow a 2smoker up by going rich but you can by going lean. So if your going to make some guesses go richer first if it doesn't go right then start to lean it with the new settings. Do your research first. It would't hurt to move the c clip up the needle one notch dropping the needle down to lean it a bit but do the research, know what settings it has now, read the plug as in indicator and then decide OK.
    Good Luck!
