The Kopu bridge was built in 1927 and it still opens to let the ferry through.
Its a pretty slick manouvre...they stop the traffic [obviously]..the ferry already waiting....bridge opens...boat roars through and bridge closes.
Takes no more than a minute or 2.

It is quite impressive though, for such a old bridge. It has really bad repairs though. I bloody swear the filling they make only makes things worse. Can't help that the traffic lines sometimes reach whole kilometers back.
