That first shot is sexual chocolate
To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and to endure the betrayal of false friends. To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded

The first two photos were taken on a Canon EOS-1D body. Although a pro-level camera, these cameras are about seven years old now and you can easily get a good used body for around $1,000 NZD excluding glass.

The third photo was taken on a Canon EOS-1D MKII body. Again a pro-level camera, but they're about three years old. You'd pay about $2,800 NZD for a good used body excluding glass.

The cost of glass? It really depends on how much you want to spend (though there are rental options available for short projects). These three photos were shot on different lenses (500mm, 200mm, 300mm).

Then you've got the cost of a tripod, memory cards etc etc (though Dave took these shots at an exposure speed of 1/640 so he may be shooting hand-held on the smaller lenses)

    It all adds up!

Problem is we have a reasonable kid's section - and readership.

I've been trying to hire attractive ladies to model the test bikes but they keep getting pregnant!
