So I posted here a while back about my bike being nicked from my garage.

Anyway, We went through and tried to get an insurance claim but they turned it down cause its not insurable under home and contents. So all people out there may want to check to see if theirs is. Don't just assume like I did lol.
So as stated in the other thread the numbskulls left there hat when the nicked my helmet. So that went off for DNA. It had been so long I kinda gave up hope BUT today as I was lying on the couch relaxing my phone rang. Checked it and it said private number. I was thinking I ain't answering that its probably work wanting me to come in. But I answered it anyway.
"Hello" i say.
"Hello this is ..... from the police". Fuck i thought, this is something to do with my speeding ticket I got the other day.
"Oh hey" i say.
"I am ringing about the bike stolen from your house on ... " she says.
"Yes, go on" or something like that I say
"The hat that was taken for DNA has come back positive and we have a name" she says
My jaw literly hit the floor
"Ok" i said hesitantly.
"Does the name ........ ring a bell to you" she asked
"Not that I know of" i said thinking.
"Ok well we have put that in your case file and if anything eventuates we will contact you" she said
"Sweet as, thanks, bye" i said rather stoked
"Bye bye" she said.
So I get of the phone and am stoked! Thinking now I should of really written that name down!!
So they have the name of the guy who either nicked my bike out of my garage/or was with the guy/or knows the guy.
It must only be a matter of time now before something happens! Who knows if i will ever see the bike again. But it would be dam good if someone was bought to justice over this!
