Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Oh well there are much more important things to worry about for sure, I'm such a ditherer.

P.S. Hope you and lumpy are doing well. x
I hear ya...take a Nightrod for a spin, I am told they are quite something. I guess it really depends on what makes you tingle as far as the feel of the bike is concerned. Maybe describing some of your riding expectations would help those in the know?

A couple of inch overs (jack it up a bit) on a road king and it's a real good road bike as well as looking phat.
Yup, an FXDX is probably the best all-round 'big' Harley for NZ roads ('course owning one tends to polarise my opinion).

I started out wanting the Superglide as my upgrade from the Sportster and ended up with the Streetbob and I now have about 15 000 km's worth of grin clocked up.
Only regret is that I didn't buy one earlier in life.

Last of the EVO''s, and the FXDS is built to ride, Double discs, shorter rake, more ground clearance.

Couple that with the fat pipe, Mikuni carb, EV27 cam,New ignition.

    great price as well.

If you want a fatty, buy a fatty....You can fit progressive rear shocks in and heavy front springs if ya want....You just change your riding style to suit...Or get a Heritage which has all the extras and take off what you dont want...Fuck anybody elses opinion,If you listern to them your only buying a bike they like ,not what YOU WANT.. Soft tails have a solid mounted motor (88B)with a balance shaft to smooth it out.Dynas FXD etc have rubber mounted motors(88) same as the big tourers....Forget the sporsters..Go see Kerry Jeffs at KTL motorcycles in Morning side,Great guy ,no pressure and heaps of Harleys www.ktlbikes.co.nz .. You wont regret buying one...

I believe he is referring to Sports models rather then Sportsters, Mine for example is a Lowrider Sports. Apparently better capabilities is a bad thing

    Who told you that?

I wasn't that fussed about the one I rode. (Then again, I was wearing jandals. Maybe that detracts.)

Good bike to park up for other people to look at, mind you.

Ditto, I was glad to take it back to the shop, loads of admiration off Joe public but the ride was just unpleasant. Feet forward or arms forward but both together in the (clam position) was just daft and the over fat rear wheel didn't wanna do bends if it didn't have too. Not for me at all.
    Oh bugger

My bad, Must have got confused as I didn't see any discussion in this thread about Sportsters.

Not that I read every word either.
