Thanks S it's a beaut, man you could have some fun on that, sooo many choices, fortunately I've got a while to dick around choosing of course if they bring a new model out before the ching ching is in my wallet, I'll have to start from square one again.

Come on, you can't tell me the Rocker is a 'great' bike. It's a corporate suck up to the 'squeakies' and that's fine. it's gonna earn dollars, not kudos.
Rocker is a nice motorcycle. Willy is gutted you don't like it.

Superglide is in front, it's the most practical and cheapest big block imo, fatty/ heritage a close second place. I've just got to wait till the money is available then I will be seeking a few test rides, That's almost a decision for me

    Here's my old Heritage.

not really, old evo electraglides go for very little money, usually about the same money as a sportster

Well it's all about taste (or a lack thereof), some might look at my Wideglide and think "what a bloated pile of shit" but it makes ME happy. If a Rocker makes someone else happy then fine, but I don't HAVE to like it. There are aspects of the Deuce I don't like but they do have a snazzy front end. I think HD does this deliberately, if they put everything cool that had into one bike and everyone bought it we'd all be yawning our tits off in five minutes flat coz we'd all have the same bike.

    Who's Willy?

My missus likes the Dyna Low and perhaps when the Sporty 1200C she has gets a bit tired we might upgrade her machine, they don't appear to be too overpriced and as time goes by these things are getting to be more affordable. I think we need to plonk her on a big block because right now she gets me in the twisties.

I've never owned a jappa but I must say; the people I've met in the Brit/Euro/Yank bike scene are generally pretty good folk. No doubt there are plenty like that who ride jappas so what is it for you? Why do you want to switch to a Harley?
