Harley Davidson: The most efficient way to convert gasoline into noise without the side effects of horsepower.

'Fast' Harleys are only fast compared to stock Harleys.

harley have occassionaly got it right and got all the right bits on one bike, the bikes sold well but because they could not sell enough accessories on these models to boost their profits, these models were promptly discontinued as the marketing equation determines that they need to sell x amount of accessories with each bike

No you only need to do one test ride

I remember the first time I road a harley over 20 years ago and all I wanted to do was to sell everything I owned to buy one

Thank you. It's filthy at the mo, just trekked over to Puponga at the base of Farewell Spit for a night on the turps and the road in finished with 6k's of gravel. The bugs at dusk don't help either.

Correct; the bolt-ons and clothing have made those buggers trillions over the years. Just as well probably.....

This is my Harley in solo mode and comfy for the Mrs mode.
It handles suprisingly well and in comfy mode you can sit on it all day.

Funny though they dont make them any more unless you buy the special (read fookin expensive) edition!

I understand completely but can you define why, I've never got close to putting it into words. Most of the Harley advertising makes me cringe but the closest one for me was (Things are different on a Harley) I think that's basically it, once you accept that things are different, your in for miles of smiles.

    Hence why I ride one.

That and it carries all that I need and is still comfortable to ride towards the end of a long trip.

There are some good ads too - I was looking for the two blind guys 'nice Harley' as it rides past.

But I found this anyway. Great toon - bad lip syncing.
