Talking 1 step closer to my first bike licence

Passed my basic handling test yesterday + first time on a proper bike - aweeeeesooommmmmmeeee feeling. I had a 100cc bike for the course and man, they are so easy to handle - turning, accelerating, braking...etc

nxt up is the theory part - hoping its not toooo different from the one for the car

keep ya'all updated when I have my learners

congratulations!!!! I got mine last week. I had my basic handling course for about 4 months and finally got around to getting my theory done. I have an overseas motorbike license which I need to convert. I have to get around to doing my full, once I have made up my mind and found a BIKE!

F**ken awesome mate. If you managed to do the car theory good, you shouldn't have a problem with the bike theory, there are just a couple of questions that relate specifically to bikes. Not that it is a competition or anything, but try to beat 2 minutes and 47 seconds, as that is what I did my scratch test in (rather than answering the questions, I memorised the pictures and only got one wrong) It took longer for the guy to explain everything to me then it did to do the test. When I took it up to him, he said, oh dear, did you get too many wrong, I said nah, I've finished.

Anyway, good luck, and let us know how you get on.

    Those AX100s firkken rock

Congrats on completing the BHS Test. The Theory test isn't very hard, I passed it fairly easily. Failed the cage test because of the specialist questions

I've had my cage licence for 3 months now, and haven't driven one yet

Like demerit points that sort of creep up on you when you're not looking?? Good luck Alastabesta & pick a bike that will allow you to test & develop your skills without becoming boring or too 'exciting'
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

    Talking

    hey guys and girls

thanks for that. for the future bikes, I have no idea on what sort I'm gonna get atm, one option is to get something small (around 100cc) for 6 months and then switch to something bigger later on; other option is get a GN250 or sumthing like that and stick to it until I have my full. I have very limited budget (500-1000) being a poor uni student and having owned 1 cage already = empty pocket

edit> all the 2003 and 2004 edition road code has been issued outta north shore library... /someone return them plsssssssss
