    The premeums are very low but fuch ya should see the excess

    That's even better. Get an estimate for a new rim, new tyre, steering head bearings and Forks. Send the estimate to him as a claim, and its up to him to either pay up or forward it on to his own insurance company.

    nope if the other guys at fault. which he is. your NCB (no claims bonus) is not affected.

    The way I picked it up was that Frosty don't done got NO insurance no way nada.

    HE is his own insurance as per the comments on premiums and excess....

    Frost Mutual? PT I assume
    then call up X company and tell them your uninsured and their client was at fault for failing to give way. they will send you out a claim form and they will handle your repairs.
    you can jepordise a claim or not get a full refund if you go ahead and get repairs done before an assesor has had a look at the bike and the repairers quote.

    ps:
    by any chance is his insurer AA,SIS,Sun Direct, AMP, State, NZI, IAG or Vero?
    If you dont know please PM me ill see what I can find out for you.

    yeah my bad I skimmed it. theres a buckload of mutual insurer brokers out there
