Not about the money mate, if it were I'd have ordered it from the states straight out of the blocks There's an upgraded model of this item, I would've happily paid the $400 asking price on that if I could have it in a timely fashion (no stock either sadly).

They were unhappy with themselves for letting me down, and made a few phone calls and rang me back quite promptly. Doesn't matter in the end, they're not available locally, and the supplier only orders once a month, so my saving money and time by buying from the states was the recommended course of action. I appreciated the honesty (about the supply line) rather than being fed a line, I expect they'll still be getting my business come dyno time

Mate needed a Bosch part for his bike recently. Local dealer quoted him $250. He later sourced it from overseas for less than half that.

You can try, and I do, to keep the business local but when they just take the piss, f'k 'em.
