Question How slow in 1st gear?

Ok, so we have had a thread on how fast bikes can go in first gear, I'm now wondering how slow everyone's bike can go in 1st gear (without the bike bunny-hopping or stalling).

My old 250 (Yamaha Zeal) can go right down to just before I stop, so I only need to pull the clutch in just as I stop. My current bike, however, can only get down to 11km/h (digital speedo), any slower and I have to pull the clutch in, which makes slow tight manoeuvers a PITA.

So how slow can your bike go?

Since my bike will do 150 in 1st at redline, then theory (and the calculator) tells me that it'll do about 9.75kph at idle.
Of course, I can 'feather' the clutch and drop that speed considerably...
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

No idea. A chugga chugga slow walk at idle.

The Guzzi and beemer will idle along quite nicely. The ducati doesn't like being under 3000 rpm.

Yeah about 20-25km, it sucks on road works or in slow traffic that you can't get past. But it makes up for it at the other end of the scale
