Keep your eye on the rear view mirror!

Don't know if we'll ever see any of these here, hopefully not, and given the state of GM at the moment possibly the USA won't either!

    Interesting concept though...

Some of the blurb that goes with it:

The interior is chock full of integrated police equipment such as an automatic license plate recognition system,
    360 degree exterior surveillance capability,
controls for a 130hz to 350hz bass siren,
    Night vision compliant interior illumination,
    integrated forward looking infrared system,
    integrated shotgun mounts,
    hose able backseat
and video and audio surveillance of the rear passenger compartment.

It will go up to a top speed of well over 250km/h, which makes it pretty suitable as highway chase cars.

Integrated push bumpers offer PIT manoeuvre capability

According to the manufacturer - Carbon Motors - The front seat was made to resemble a "helicopter-style cockpit". The company reportedly asked for input from nearly 2000 police officers in a bid to make the car "cop friendly"

The shotgun holders are nifty (as are the cup holders!) The number plates a good'n too - GOTCHA!

Most of them do in the states, plastic moulded rear seats.

It doesn't hold a candle to the Italians I'm afraid...

... and this isn't a concept car either.

It isn't a concept car, but it wasn't commissioned by the Italian Police. It was donated for publicity purposes.

Bitchin looking car, but some of the snot-nosed officers we have now ca`nt drive a Holden Commodore (maybe the noise and flashing lights put them off).

And Mikkel , a Lambo in NZ (I do`nt think so!!!), would be cool though.

Are these 130Hz and 350Hz sirens different to ours?
Some people just can't seem to comprehend that they do not have the right to be unoffended in their lives.

It looks agressive. I don't think the police should look agressive - I am trying to teach my 3 year old and year old about trusting police officers in case they get lost or are in trouble. If the cops come out with this sort of penis extension bullshit in an effort to be the biggest baddest arses on the road then they are little better than the gansta wankas the seem to be trying to emulate.
I guess this car has nothing to do with the police and everything to do with GM digging their hole a bit deeper
In space, no one can smell your fart.
